As the lead founder of Fraternus, Justin Biance drew inspiration from growing up without strong Catholic mentorship and later finding it through the Brotherhood of Hope at Florida State University and the personal mentorship of Dr. Bob Schuchts. While working for the Boy Scouts of America, he saw the need for a distinctly Catholic brotherhood for boys rooted in fraternity and the truth of manhood found in Jesus Christ.
Justin is an author, entrepreneur, and founder of J. Biance Financial, which he owns and operates with his brother, Jason. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Mary, master’s degrees in Theology and Entrepreneurship, and is the author of The Great Inheritance. Justin and his wife, Angela, have seven children. He remains actively involved with Fraternus as a board member, mentor, and advisor to the brotherhood.
“Fraternus provides the kind of brotherhood young men desperately need,” Justin explains. “So many boys end up in the wrong kind of brotherhood, following the wrong kind of mentors. Fraternus provides an image of the Father young men crave but rarely encounter. It is this very natural experience of fatherhood and Christian brotherhood which makes Fraternus so powerful.
